Reception service

At the very entrance to the modernly equipped departments of AQUALAB clinical laboratories, reception services are located, which represent the point of contact between the laboratory and patients. Receptionists combine mass communication skills and pre-analytical sample preparation. The staff is happy to assist visitors, either by providing answers or referring them to a consultation with expert medical staff.


According to standard operating procedures for reception, the main functions of this unit are:

  • Specimen receipt along with basic laboratory request forms, identification and matching of patient identification to tube identification.
  • Distribution of requests for laboratory testing of samples to the laboratory analysis unit. Printing and uploading the results of laboratory analyses.


The laboratory’s reception is open from 07:00 to 20:00 and at certain locations in Belgrade from 00:00 to 24:00 daily.
